Founded in 2001 by a joint venture by Kering Group, Stella McCartney has embodied ethical values and sustainable and responsible fashion towards the planet and people for more than 20 years. Not surprisingly, the Stella McCartney brand is recognized on the international scene as one of the most ethical and cruelty-free. The ambition of the British fashion house is evident: to use only recycled, recyclable and sustainably sourced materials. The predominantly Wholesale company joined LVMH and the Retail world in 2019. In January 2025, the designer bought back the minority stake from LVMH, thus returning to complete brand independence.

Requirements

The years since the alliance between Stella McCartney and LVMH have been characterized by a strong push into Retail and major technology investments to support the company's new global growth strategies. The client needed a flexible and scalable technology solution for asset and liability cycle management and store back office management.

Stella McCartney has chosen Deda Stealth solutions to support the brand's growth, finding the Stealth® Platform the most suitable answer to its needs, thanks to its flexibility and robust architecture. With this valuable technology solution, it is possible to manage all warehouse transactions, perform timely stock checks and have a centralized view of data and processes. The brand has thus overcome the limitations of a fragmented system by adopting a single platform capable of covering the entire product lifecycle, up to and including back-office management of stores with the Stealth® Retail module. The fashion house has also embraced the Stealth in Your Pocket project and uses the 5 Mobile Apps of the Stealth® App Gallery suite for complete management of all store operations including: querying stock quantities, inventory exploration, control of stock movements, ANS and in-store order fulfillment for orders placed on eCommerce or marketplace.

The results

Stealth® Platform's structural model has eliminated duplication of data and stock across multiple systems, reduced errors, and simplified maintenance, thus meeting the need for real-time data and optimizing the many manual layers. The intuitive interface has made using the platform easier and facilitated staff onboarding. With the search & synthesis feature, users can now manage queries themselves, taking advantage of specific functionality for the fashion industry. In addition, the ERP has enabled the tracking of sustainability information: the environmental impact of products reinforces the brand's long-term strategy.
